The Asus Zen Fone Go 5.0 LTE (ZB500KL) is powered by 1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 processor and it comes with 2GB of RAM.
The phone packs 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 64GB via a micro SD card.
The company has made Android phones powered by Intel and Qualcomm So Cs.
Asus's latest mobile launch is the Zen Fone Go 5.0 LTE (ZB500KL). The phone comes with a 5.00-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 pixels by 1280 pixels.
Asus last week listed the changes the Android 5.0 Lollipop update would bring to the Zen Fone 4, Zen Fone 5, and Zen Fone 6 handsets, apart from the Material Design UI and other changes that Google's Android update offers.
Google released Android 6.0 Marshmallow for OEMs and select Nexus devices including Nexus 6P and Nexus 5 last year.
Sony Xperia Z5 is also now receiving the update, according to a report.
The adoption rate for Android 6.0 only recently hit 1 percent.
Amid concerns from users, Asus said that it will be rolling out the latest and greatest version of Google's mobile operating system to a range of its Zen Fone handsets including Zen Fone 2 (ZE550ML, ZE551ML), Zen Fone 2 Deluxe (ZE551ML), Zen Fone 2 Deluxe Special Edition (ZE551ML), Zen Fone 2 Laser (ZE500KG, ZE500KL, ZE550KL, ZE551KL, ZE600KL, ZE601KL), Zen Fone Selfie (ZD551KL), Zen Fone Max (ZC550KL), and Zen Fone Zoom (ZX551ML) in the second quarter of 2016.
Also included in the list is Pad Fone S smartphone.
As far as the cameras are concerned, the Asus Zen Fone Go 5.0 LTE (ZB500KL) packs a 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies.
