A total of 719,618 people of concern are registered with UNHCR in Jordan, including 646,329 Syrians, 55,162 Iraqis, and 9,127 others including 4,071 Yemenis, 3,055 Sudanese and 777 Somalis.
Currently, she is back in Jordan, interning with the United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR).
Through observation, mentoring, and practice, the fellows learn the behaviors and attitudes of ethical, effective leaders through more than 70 contact hours per fellow per year.
Our fellows gain access to a myriad of opportunities to advance their leadership skills. Ollie Ajami – Legal Studies and Marketing Ollie Ajami is seeking a Bachelors of Business Administration degree and is majoring in Legal Studies and Marketing at Grand Valley State University.
She was also a long-term volunteer at Mabarrat Um Al Hussein, an all boys’ orphanage and community center.
As a volunteer, she played learning games with the boys, assisted them with their homework, and chaperoned special events.
Fellows are admitted to the Cook Leadership Academy for one or more years.
